Active participation in research activities of the Chair Information Systems Engineering (Prof. Dr. Stefan Tai) - in particular, research activities in the areas of Cloud Services and Systems, Blockchain technologies and applications, Information Governance and Privacy Engineering; cooperation with national and international partners both in academia and in industry; independent and team-based execution and publication of research results; organisation and execution of digital and on-site courses (Bachelor and Master level) in German and in English for the study programs Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management. Opportunity to obtain a doctorate in engineering (computer science).
Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering/Management, or Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science; very good programming and software development skills; excellent communication skills; high level of commitment; first-rate German and English language skills.
Furthermore: Passion for new technologies and experimental research; experience in the fields of distributed systems, data management, and software systems engineering.
