Student Assistant (m/f/d)
The student assistant will support Department 3’s publication office. Her/his tasks range from assisting with editorial work on scientific texts (especially in English, German, and/or Chinese), to supporting project members with the organization of scientific events, the maintenance and updating of the department website, and helping to maintain databases, reference management software as well as digital repositories.
Native English speakers with a good command of German and native German speakers with a good command of English are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with the Chinese language is considered an advantage. Applicants must be enrolled at a university in Berlin or Brandenburg, and those without a bachelor’s degree should be in at least their third semester of study. They should have a good working knowledge of modern information technology and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
What we offer:
The hourly rate is calculated according to the Max Planck Society’s program to support junior scholars, 12,00 € for bachelor’s students, 13,95 € for students enrolled in a master’s program who already hold a bachelor’s degree.
