50Hertz is one of the four electricity transmission system operators in Germany. We transport electricity at the highest voltage level. The company's round about 1.200 employees are creating something that until recently many people thought was impossible: Promote energy system transformation at high speed while maintaining security of supply. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group.
In this context, 50Hertz is using data science and machine learning for multiple use cases, including predicting energy generation, which is getting more and more relevant with the growing proportion of renewable energy in the 50Hertz area. At Neuenhagen (near Berlin), we are offering you the above-mentioned position as soon as possible.
