Work­ing Stu­dent (m/f/d) Product Man­age­ment / Cat­egory Man­age­ment

Work­ing field:

As a work­ing stu­dent (m/f/d) in our Cat­egory Man­age­ment you sup­port the Cat­egory Man­agers in cre­at­ing and devel­op­ing new items and make them avail­able to our global com­munity. You work in close cooper­a­tion with other depart­ments such as Product Data Man­age­ment, Graph­ics and Mar­ket­ing and thus gain inter­est­ing insights into the product man­age­ment of an inter­na­tion­ally suc­cess­ful e-com­merce com­pany.

In detail, your tasks include:

  • You carry out vari­ous ana­lyses and eval­u­ations, e.g. on sales, qual­ity stat­ist­ics, cus­tomer reviews and many more
  • You com­pose product descrip­tions and oper­at­ing instruc­tions and pre­pare pack­aging lay­outs
  • You con­scien­tiously main­tain our product data­base (data acquis­i­tion, check­ing and cor­rec­tion) to ensure that all product data is kept and dis­played cor­rectly
  • To expand our port­fo­lio, you check and eval­u­ate sample art­icles
  • You sup­port us in per­form­ing mar­ket, trend and com­pet­itor ana­lyses to make sure our products always have their fin­ger on the pulse

Require­ments:

You unite a struc­tured, thor­ough and quick way of work­ing and have an ana­lyt­ical mind? If you also meet the fol­low­ing require­ments, we match well:

  • You are an enrolled stu­dent of a study pro­gram with a busi­ness or tech­nical spe­cial­iz­a­tion
  • Your Excel skills are good
  • You are flu­ent in Ger­man and con­fid­ent in using Eng­lish
  • Ideally, you have some prac­tical exper­i­ence in work­ing with large amounts of data
  • You can sup­port us reg­u­larly and for at least 1 year for 20h per week, option­ally more dur­ing the semester break
