Work­ing field:

  • Syn­the­sis and cha­rac­te­ri­za­tion (che­mi­cal, struc­tu­ral) of inor­ga­nic solids
  • Deve­lop­ment and opti­mi­za­tion of syn­the­sis rou­tes, in par­ti­cu­lar in the field of mecha­no­chemi­cal syn­the­sis
  • Per­for­mance of scat­te­ring expe­ri­ments using X-ray and neu­tron methods
  • Gra­dua­tion is pos­si­ble (doc­to­ral the­sis)


  • Suc­cess­fully com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Diplom or equi­va­lent) in che­mi­stry; very good gra­des are desi­red
  • Good Ger­man and Eng­lish lan­guage skills
  • Well-groun­ded know­ledge of solid state che­mi­stry labo­ra­tory work is requi­red. The plan­ned work is part of a joint rese­arch pro­ject, and, con­se­quently, no long period of voca­tio­nal adjust­ment can be allo­wed.
