Junior People Oper­a­tions Man­ager (Ger­man-speak­ing)

Work­ing field:

You will be:

  • Lead­ing the oper­at­ive side of the employ­ment life cycle - from Onboard­ing to Off­board­ing.
  • Ensur­ing the devel­op­ment of the People Oper­a­tions Team, provid­ing guid­ance and con­sulta­tion, improv­ing sys­tems and driv­ing for­ward organ­isa­tion-wide HR pro­jects.
  • Assist­ing with work per­mits as well as the relo­ca­tion pro­cess of inter­na­tional employ­ees.
  • Pre­par­ing monthly payroll by provid­ing rel­ev­ant data and ensur­ing accur­ate deliv­ery of payroll, includ­ing resolv­ing com­plaints, ques­tions and dis­crep­an­cies.
  • Ensur­ing that HR records, con­trac­tual changes and other people related doc­u­ment­a­tion for employ­ees are pro­cessed and recor­ded.
  • Sup­port­ing with cre­ation and imple­ment­a­tion of HR policies and pro­cesses.
  • Sup­port­ing and guid­ing junior level col­leagues if needed.

Require­ments:

You are:

  • A trust­worthy com­mu­nic­ator with excel­lent act­ive listen­ing and inter­per­sonal skills.
  • Able to express your­self clearly in Eng­lish and Ger­man.  
  • Able to pri­or­it­ise well between tasks to meet dead­lines on time.

You have:

  • Ideally a Bach­elor's degree in Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion, Human Resource Man­age­ment or sim­ilar field.
  • Strong affin­ity for num­bers and an eye for detail.
  • Very good Busi­ness Ger­man and Eng­lish skills, both writ­ten and spoken.
  • Good know­ledge of MS Office and  first hands on exper­i­ence with HRM sys­tems.

Nice to have:

  • Some work­ing exper­i­ence in a sim­ilar role, prefer­ably in a high-growth star­tup envir­on­ment.
  • Some know­ledge of Ger­man labor law, par­tic­u­larly in rela­tion to con­tract agree­ments and right to work.
  • Exper­i­ence in using Bam­booHR, Jira and Con­flu­ence.
  • Know­ledge of any addi­tional lan­guages.
