People and Cul­ture Intern

Gen­eral pos­i­tion sum­mary:
Based in Ber­lin, Ger­many, we are look­ing for a full-time intern to join our People & Cul­ture team for a 3 to 6-months long intern­ship. We have a fas­cin­at­ing and pion­eer­ing road ahead: we are just at the begin­ning of build­ing our new offices in Nairobi and New York City and this intern­ship will have a global focus on inter­na­tional recruit­ment, the estab­lish­ment of a global com­pany cul­ture and enfor­cing Human­itec’s employer brand.

Your tasks:
As the Intern of our People & Cul­ture team you will focus on the fol­low­ing areas:
  • Inter­na­tional Recruit­ing - You will sup­port the entire recruit­ing cycle from act­ive sourcing of can­did­ates to the onboard­ing pro­cesses. You will get to attend rel­ev­ant events and learn more about vari­ous recruit­ment plat­forms.
  • Employer Brand­ing - We will need your sup­port and cre­at­ive ideas in bring­ing out our employer val­ues to the com­munity via our social media chan­nels and by rep­res­ent­ing Human­itec in vari­ous events and meetups.
  • Com­pany Cul­ture - Our team and our cul­ture are very import­ant to us, and your ideas will be a valu­able sup­port in keep­ing it up and run­ning with the expan­sion of our team and oper­a­tions.


  • You quickly cap­ture com­plex issues and you can work in a struc­tured way with atten­tion to details.
  • You have an empathic per­son­al­ity with an under­stand­ing and keen interest in human resources.
  • You are will­ing to learn about our busi­ness spe­cif­ics and con­trib­ute with your own ideas to the growth of the com­pany.
  • You are a com­mu­nic­a­tion tal­ent and enjoy work­ing in an inter­na­tional envir­on­ment.
  • You have pro­fi­cient Eng­lish lan­guage skills both spoken and writ­ten. Ger­man know­ledge is a plus!
