Work­ing field:

In the field of driv­ing sim­u­la­tion, the degree of immer­sion of the sim­u­lated driv­ing envir­on­ment on humans is cru­cial to determ­ine the effect­ive­ness of vir­tual safe­guards.
For this pur­pose, the depart­ment con­ducts vari­ous research pro­jects in the Digital Cube Test Cen­ter (DCTC), which invest­ig­ate human-machine inter­ac­tion dur­ing driv­ing sim­u­la­tion.
The area of respons­ib­il­ity of the vacant pos­i­tion includes the coordin­a­tion and imple­ment­a­tion of sci­entific pro­jects, rel­ev­ant sci­entific pub­lic­a­tions and par­ti­cip­a­tion in rel­ev­ant con­fer­ences to present the sub­ject of research.
PhD thesis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible.

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Human Factors Engin­eer­ing, Psy­cho­logy, Indus­trial Psy­cho­logy or com­par­able
  • know­ledge in the field Human Centered Design
  • ini­tial exper­i­ence in con­duct­ing volun­teer stud­ies, con­duct­ing and ana­lyz­ing inter­views
  • abil­ity to work in a team, pro­fes­sional atti­tude, cre­ativ­ity
  • good to very good Eng­lish skills are desired
