Ener­get­ic­ally, the team of the Energy and Resource Man­age­ment Depart­ment works on the top­ics of sus­tain­able energy sup­ply and resource util­iz­a­tion, both from an eco­nom­ics and tech­nical point of view. The focus of research is the real­iz­a­tion of cli­mate pro­tec­tion and energy trans­ition across all sec­tors and value chains. The teach­ing, which com­bines ele­ments of research and prac­tice in an innov­at­ive way, is primar­ily aimed at stu­dents of indus­trial engin­eer­ing spe­cial­iz­ing in energy and resource man­age­ment. Women and fam­ily friend­li­ness, work-life bal­ance and flex­ible work­ing time mod­els are part of our self-image.

Work­ing field:

Your tasks range from col­lab­or­a­tion in research and teach­ing to inter­dis­cip­lin­ary (eco­nom­ical and tech­nical) energy ana­lyses, devel­op­ment and applic­a­tion of mod­els and eco­nomic-tech­nical eval­u­ations of energy and envir­on­mental sys­tems. A spe­cial focus are sec­tor-coupled (integ­rated) ana­lyses from eco­nomic, eco­lo­gic, and tech­nical per­spect­ives, con­sid­er­ing sus­tain­ab­il­ity and resource aspects. The teach­ing will be per­formed in the courses of the depart­ment, with a focus on the courses Basics and Reg­u­lat­ory Man­age­ment.

Require­ments:

To sub­sti­tute one of our employ­ees, we are look­ing for a per­son with suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent), prefer­ably at indus­trial engin­eer­ing, gen­eral engin­eer­ing, or eco­nom­ics with an energy or envir­on­mental tech­no­logy focus) who brings com­mit­ment, cre­ativ­ity and com­mu­nic­a­tion skills to our depart­ment and com­bines an inde­pend­ent research interest with a strong focus on team­work and joy at teach­ing. Social, lan­guage and IT skills com­plete your pro­file.
