Work­ing field:

  • Teach­ing of the mod­ule „Wie Wis­senschaft Wis­sen Schafft. Ver­ant­wort­lich Han­deln in Natur- und Tech­nikwis­senschaften“ (How does sci­ence pro­duce know­ledge. Act­ing respons­ible in sci­ence and engin­eer­ing) as part of the TU Ber­lin ori­ent­a­tion stud­ies “MINT­grün” (teach­ing duties) accord­ing to the Ger­man Teach­ing Assign­ment Dir­ect­ive (Lehrver­p­f­lich­tungs­ver­or­d­nung (LVVO)), on a work load pro-rata basis, if applic­able
  • Self-con­tained, fur­ther organ­iz­a­tion of the mod­ule (in rela­tion to its con­tent as well as its teach­ing meth­ods)
  • Super­vising the stu­dents in con­duct­ing smal­ler research pro­jects (“Lehr­forschung­s­pro­jekte”)
  • Par­ti­cip­at­ing in both teams in which the mod­ule is con­tex­tu­al­ized (Cen­ter for Inter­dis­cip­lin­ary Women’s and Gender Stud­ies and MINT­grün)
  • Research and pub­lic­a­tion activ­it­ies on the activ­ity (for example on research based teach­ing)
  • Par­ti­cip­at­ing in events of MINT­grün such as LNDW, study trip, etc.

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent), prefer­ably in Soci­ology or Gender Stud­ies with an emphasis on fem­in­ist stud­ies of sci­ence and tech­no­logy
  • Very good pro­fi­cien­cies in the inter­dis­cip­lin­ary fields of qual­it­at­ive social research on sci­ence and tech­no­logy as well as fem­in­ist epi­stem­o­logy (Gender Stud­ies in STEM) and the pre­pared­ness to teach those across dis­cip­lin­ary bound­ar­ies to first year stu­dents
  • Interest in “sus­tain­able devel­op­ment”
  • Above this, first exper­i­ences in teach­ing the inter­dis­cip­lin­ary classroom and/or meth­ods of research based teach­ing are desired
  • Excel­lent scills in Ger­man lan­guage are neces­sary
