Teraki is a Berlin based company offering software solutions for Internet of Things (IoT) sensor-data reduction. Based on our core technology, Teraki is offering a unique way to just send only relevant information from any sensor source, enabling to dramatically speed up the process. These are requirements for current state-of-the art automotive applications with software updates requiring the efficient low-latency handling of AI models.
Currently we have a positions for a Data Science intern. We are looking for an open-minded and proactive person to support our data science team on the improvement of current schemes based on AI based automatized learning.
Master Thesis/Internship Data Science
Neural networks show state-of-art performance in many machine learning tasks. In the context of edge analytics their use is however restricted by large computational power and memory requirements. Various compression methods, such as quantisation and sparsification, allow to reduce the resource requirements of the network. Development of such methods is crucial for implementation of neural networks in the IoT and self-driving cars applications. This project involves development of novel compression algorithms and testing them on available automotive industry datasets.
Enrolled student living in Berlin or willing to relocate and being available for 3 to 6 months of internship, further 6 months for master thesis
Bachelor/master degree preferably in computer science, mathematics or physics
You should have good programming skills in Python. Ideally you also have some experience in Matlab and C
Having a strong interest in the latest developments in AI and its role in the development of novel mobility models
