Par­ti­cip­a­tion in cooper­at­ive research within the SFB 1109; applic­a­tion and devel­op­ment of advanced quantum-chem­ical meth­ods for the mod­el­ing of aggreg­a­tion and hydro­lysis of ele­ment-oxo clusters

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in chem­istry; very good know­ledge in the devel­op­ment and applic­a­tion of advanced meth­ods of quantum chem­istry with emphasis on com­pu­ta­tions of struc­tures, spec­tro­scopic prop­er­ties and ener­gies of molecu­lar sil­icon- alu­minum-, and iron-oxo clusters; know­ledge in the ana­lysis of reac­tion mech­an­isms, in mod­ern DFT meth­ods, and in ab ini­tio molecu­lar dynam­ics sim­u­la­tions; ded­ic­a­tion and abil­ity to work autonom­ously
