LANDT - Berlin, Germany

LANDT is a group of aligned companies with a total of 60 staff members and core-consultants in Germany, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan focused on SME finance and specifically on credit guarantee facilities operating in challenging environments. Credit guarantee facilities are market-friendly interventions to share the risk of SME lending of Financial Institutions and thereby facilitate access to finance for SMEs. The core company of LANDT is Leidner & Thiesen GmbH, a Berlin based financial services consulting and asset management company established in 2013 which provides a wide range of services related to SME finance and credit guarantee facilities. LANDT manages two credit guarantee funds, located in Afghanistan (ACGF – Afghan Credit Guarantee Foundation) and Tajikistan (CGFT – Credit Guarantee Fund Tajikistan GmbH) and is planning a dynamic business expansion to other target regions and countries. Currently, the credit guarantee funds are supported in part by various partners such as the World Bank, the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Development Bank of Austria (OeEB), the German Investment and Development Corporation (DEG) and the Development Bank of The Netherlands (FMO).
