Work­ing field:

Research assist­ant in a col­lab­or­ate research pro­ject in social sci­ences, urban plan­ning and design; explor­a­tion of the spa­tial know­ledge of chil­dren and youth and its change since the 1970s; con­trib­ut­ing to a qual­it­at­ive meta-ana­lysis; devel­op­ing case stud­ies con­cern­ing the European and Latin-Amer­ican con­text; present­a­tion and pub­lic­a­tion of research res­ults at inter­na­tional con­fer­ences as well as in inter­na­tional peer-reviewed journ­als; graphic pro­cessing of research res­ults; inter­dis­cip­lin­ary net­work­ing and cooper­a­tion within the col­lab­or­ate research pro­ject (incl. col­lab­or­a­tion in meet­ings, work­shops and con­fer­ences); build­ing and main­tain­ing inter­na­tional cooper­a­tion; par­ti­cip­a­tion in a Gradu­ate Col­lege as a PhD Can­did­ate

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted aca­demic uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) in urban design, urban and regional plan­ning, spa­tial plan­ning, archi­tec­ture, geo­graphy, social sci­ence; flu­ent in Ger­man and Eng­lish; graphic skills

Addi­tional Desir­able Qual­i­fic­a­tions:
Exper­i­ence in inter­dis­cip­lin­ary research; Know­ledge in meth­ods in the social and plan­ning sci­ences (e. g. spa­tial ana­lysis, par­ti­cipant obser­va­tion, inter­view­ing, map­ping); good know­ledge of Span­ish; interest in a PhD in plan­ning sci­ence
