Ser­vice Man­age­ment Assist­ant (Stu­dent)

Work­ing field:

Ser­vice Man­age­ment Assist­ant - Lan­guage Ser­vices field

Respons­ib­il­it­ies:

  • Pro­cess exe­cu­tion accord­ing to the ser­vice port­fo­lio throughout the whole pro­ject life­cycle pro­cess (ini­ti­ation, plan­ning, exe­cu­tion, con­trol and clos­ing).
  • Mon­it­or­ing of over­all work­flow timelines includ­ing ser­vice deliv­ery (trans­la­tion, revi­sion, DTP, etc.).
  • Pro­ject fin­an­cials includ­ing rev­enue and gross mar­gin, pre­par­ing Invoicing.
  • Cli­ent rela­tion­ship man­age­ment at first level oper­a­tional con­tacts, rep­res­ent­ing the organ­iz­a­tion to the cus­tomer.

Require­ments:

Pro­file:

  • You are a BA or MA stu­dent, prefer­ably in a lan­guage, com­mu­nic­a­tion and/or busi­ness related degree.
  • You have excel­lent know­ledge of Ger­man and Eng­lish; addi­tional lan­guages are an asset.
  • You have excel­lent com­mu­nic­a­tion skills (email, phone, present­a­tions).
  • You have strong organ­iz­a­tion skills, as well as stress man­age­ment skills, in order to meet tight dead­lines and organ­ize heavy work­loads or com­plex pro­ject situ­ations.
  • You have demon­strated abil­ity to work indi­vidu­ally or as part of a local or vir­tual team.
  • Basic exper­i­ence in ser­vice/pro­ject man­age­ment or in sim­ilar roles/busi­nesses (prefer­ably related to Lan­guage Ser­vices) is an asset.
  • Good know­ledge of com­monly used com­puter desktop applic­a­tions and ser­vices (e.g. MS Office, pro­duc­tion applic­a­tions, Adobe Acrobat, Inter­net, etc.); know­ledge of com­puter trans­la­tion tools (e.g. TRA­DOS) is an asset.

What we of­fer:

We are look­ing for a stu­dent to be a Ser­vice Man­age­ment Assist­ant, respons­ible for the day-to-day man­age­ment of cus­tomer orders accord­ing to the cus­tomer require­ments and AMPLEXOR stand­ards. This per­son will be a part of our Lan­guage Ser­vice team and he/she will work on cus­tomer ser­vice deliv­er­ies under the respons­ib­il­ity of a Ser­vice Man­ager at our office in Ber­lin.
