The pos­i­tion is to be filled within the pro­ject SOMA (Soft Manip­u­la­tion), Hori­zon 2020 Pro­gramme of the European Union. More inform­a­tion at www.softmanipulation.eu.

Work­ing field:

  • research in the field of grasp­ing and manip­u­la­tion (con­trol and plan­ning)
  • design­ing soft robot hands (Soft Robot­ics)
  • con­duct­ing user stud­ies
  • it is pos­sible to work towards a PhD

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Com­puter Sci­ence or a related sub­ject
  • excel­lent know­ledge and exper­i­ence within the sub­jects of manip­u­la­tion, plan­ning, com­puter vis­ion, machine learn­ing, soft robot­ics
  • prior exper­i­ence in online inter­act­ive per­cep­tion
  • pro­fi­ciency in Eng­lish lan­guage
